As 2017 ends, the team at Liberty Technology is grateful to those who trusted us to be their technical advisors this year. We’re looking forward to an even more exciting and productive 2018!
Looking back, it was a busy year filled with travel, events, and of course, training. Here’s a brief recap in case you’re wondering what in the world we’ve been up to.
Jordan Fletcher spent a week in San Jose, CA to see the latest collaboration technology for Cisco Partners and to learn about Cisco Spark Integrations.
Todd Gardner went to Sandy Springs to receive advanced technical certifications for Genetec, the leader in IP video surveillance, access control, and license plate recognition.
David Pritchard headed to the Nashville Music City Center for Cisco Geekfest, an exclusive event focusing on Cisco CloudCenter, Next Generation Meetings, Ransomware defense, and more!
New Account Executives Donnie Howard and Than Williams represented Liberty Technology at the Georgia Chapter of the Government Management Information Sciences fall expo in Savannah, Georgia.
Liberty’s CEO, Ben Johnson stayed local for a week along with Wes Colbert, Keith Blount, Steven Lease, and Charles and Andrea Goodsell to become Ekahau Certified Survey Engineers. All are now experts at Wi-Fi design and analysis.
Steven took an entire team to Las Vegas for Cisco Live, as he continues to learn how the Internet of Things (IoT) is accelerating the digital transformation.
Nathan Jones and Nicole Perry headed to Toronto, Canada to conduct a 2-day Agile workshop with fellow MSP, Quartet.
Brittany Michelle Cobb spent a day at the Cisco headquarters in Atlanta, for an intensive sales workshop on Cisco Spark.
Ben, Nathan, Steven, Than, Donnie, Susan, Nicole, David, and Josh Messer all went down to Orlando for IT Nation. As a first-time exhibitor, Liberty unveiled and provided demonstrations of our new chatbot Ada, the Automated Dispatch Assistant. Plus Liberty was featured prominently in ConnectWise CEO Arnie Bellini’s keynote for the conference!
Ben racked up countless air miles this year, flying all over the country, not only for training and conferences, but meeting with industry leaders and influencing the direction of our industry. Ben was in San Diego for the CEDIA expo, a leading event in connected technology with targeted training in tech integration. In Dallas, Texas Ben sat on a panel that helped introduce a historical announcement from ConnectWise and Cisco at Cisco Partner Summit. Back out in California, Ben attended the NexGen Conference & Technology Expo, a trade show with a focus on disruptive innovation.
Most importantly, during all this travel and training we had a dedicated team at our headquarters in Griffin, Georgia – focused on providing our clients with world class technical support and service.
We’re excited about what we’ve learned and accomplished in 2017 and for the opportunity to deliver more new and innovative solutions to our clients in 2018!
